The MacEwan apartment complex was built at the corner of 111th
Street and 4th Avenue SW, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in the
southern-most part of Edmonton.
Four L-shaped buildings have been developed on the premises at MacEwan. The
buildings are 4 storeys high. Each building contains 72 apartments. The
underground parking deck has capacity for 300 cars. In addition to these, there
are also 113 above-ground parking places for visitors.
Edmonton is the capital of the Canadian province of Alberta and has 782,439
inhabitants (april 2009). It is Canada’s fifth largest city, after Toronto,
Montréal, Vancouver, and Calgary. Edmonton encompasses no less than 684 square
kilometres, which makes it larger in area than cities like Chicago and Toronto.
Bear in mind though, that Edmonton is also one of the most sparsely populated
cities in North America. So the area cited includes a lot of parks and
